SEVEN HABITS EFFECTIVE PEOPLE HAVE

We often wonder what exactly effective people adopt in their lives that took them to heights. We always try to track the line that distinguishes between them and us. They are no different from us; they grew among st us and reached to great heights with true dedication and vision. They all have a story to tell, their struggles, their life experiences and the thing that always kept them motivated no matter how difficult things were. Here I am revealing some habits that effective people have that make them stand different from the rest of the crowd.

1.       BE PROACTIVE - Blaming others for the circumstances we are in is the first habit that needs to be changed. Effective people take initiative for their condition whether good or bad. We need to understand that things will happen that might be not in our interest but instead of devoting our time and energy on blaming conditions, we must concentrate our energy in turning the situation that could benefit us. Next time whenever something unpleasant happens, keep calm and take responsibility for your own.

2.       HAVE A VISION - It is said that outputs are generated in two parts, first creating them in our imagination or having a vision and then comes the steps to execute in order to fulfill our aim. Our subconscious mind is very prone to suggestions. Whatever impression our conscious mind possess for things around, our subconscious mind take it as an input and start working on it. In order to generate positive results, you need to fed your mind with right impressions and give it a vision and things will turn out to be real.

3.       WORKING IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR AIM – This is the second part that needs to be followed if we want our dreams to come true. Effective people work day in and day out keeping positive thoughts until they get what they want. Thinking alone cannot make wonders but mixture of thinking and doing things in the direction of the aim will definitely make wonders.

4.       WIN-WIN ATTITUDE – Sometimes we lose, sometimes we win but what matters is our attitude. There should always be a win-win attitude. We must be prepared for the known and the unknown and deal with issues with full preparation and a never say die attitude.

5.       UNDERSTAND AND THEN YOU WILL BE UNDERSTOOD – We need to understand other’s perspective and try to understand what they have to offer. When we will try to understand them, they will take an initiative to hear what we have to offer. It is a simple give and take scheme.

6.       TEAMWORK COOPERATION – This is the quality of every leader. We cannot do anything alone. We require support and cooperation of the people around us. Teamwork is the basis of great achievements. Always remember, Together we can.

7.       LIVE BALANCED LIFE – No matter how busy you are, take time out for everything that holds importance. Your work is important but at the end things that matters most is your health, family and friends. Never ignore your priorities.

CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING

“Change is the essence of life; be willing to surrender who you are for what you could become!”

It is said that whatever happens is for good. But when certain things happen that are not in our interest, we keep exaggerating that why it happened and wishing that everything should be as it was. This is a common human tendency that we don’t appreciate change although we know that change is the only constant thing. We travel back n forth in our imagination trying to evaluate what triggered such changes instead of using that time for making the particular change to work in our interest. Change is necessary for growth. Even stagnant water stinks after sometime, it has to flow so do we.

There are many reasons why people could not resist changes occurring in their lives among which the most common is the fear of what may happen also called as fear of unknown. The strategy an average man follows is to act in a direction with a known destination. Very few people are challenging enough to push their own boundaries and unleash a total new world of opportunities. The fear of failure makes them hate change even more. They simply want to stay where they are instead of entering into a world of uncertainty.

Another reason why most of the people dislike change is low self confidence of poor competence. During a transition, many things will change just for instance, if you migrate from one city to another, you have to understand their language in order to communicate well. Apart from looking for basic requirements you have to get used with the weather conditions and the environment around. At that point if you feel lost in the crowd or you feel that you stand no where you are definitely going to hate change since you are not competitive enough to exist in a new place.

We cling to something really fast and when the time comes to detach, we feel miserable and cast all blames on the change that occurred. But the truth is, change has to occur and change will occur whether we like it or not, because that is how it works. We take birth, we grow, then become young, after that adult and then old. Changes take place for our betterment and to mature us with time.

Instead of disliking change, one must endure it because we never know what it has for us. Future is unpredictable and that is the essence of it. Change is of similar kind. We don’t know what good it is for us until we experience the results. There is a plan hidden in everything that happens and we must be ready to welcome the untold journey. Even if it fails to make us reach our destination, still it will teach us a lesson for lifetime.

WORK ETHICS

There are certain rules and regulations or we can say norms every company and people working there has to follow. In order to provide safety, healthy environment and avoiding non-work related tasks in the office there are certain things everyone has to follow and the term is ‘Work Ethics’.

Work Ethics means moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity at work.Work Ethics include various points to define the behavior expected by an employee while working. Describing those points as follows-

1.       Grapevine communication: Also called as gossiping. Gossips at workplace are one of the major follies of work ethics. Gossiping about the company, criticizing or mocking various activities of the company leads to a lot of negativity in the work environment and often decreases productivity. Employees who works with dedication for the company are also mislead and they just finish their job and never wish to contribute in the company’s growth.

2.       Whistle Blowing: This practice must be adopted by the employees. Watching someone doing something that is not legal or practicing activities that adds to the degradation of the company and keeping quite is also a serious issue. This ‘Don’t care’ attitude has to change. Whistle blowing means to report if you find malpractices running around you and help the work environment to be free from corruption.

3.       Sexual Harassment and Discrimination: This is a serious issue and the most alarming one. Sexual Harassment and discrimination at workplace de-motivates women from pursuing their respective jobs.  Commenting on their appearance, trying to make them uncomfortable with their talks and sometimes crossing the line all comes under sexual harassment and immediate action is taken over such issues. Discrimination means discriminating on the basis of gender, caste, creed or color. This must be avoided at work place to ensure healthy environment at workplace.

4.       Safety in workplace: The workplace must be a safe-zone. There must be arrangements for any kind of emergency for example fire. When an employee is guaranteed safety at workplace, he develops a sense of confidence over the company’s policies and working condition. Moreover, stress relief strategy must be adopted like conducting fun activities or arranging outings for employees.

5.       Time Theft- It means misusing the time that must be dedicated for the work. The most common is cyber-slacking which means using internet for personnel use and wasting the time that belongs to the company. Arriving late, leaving early, talking too much, all comes under time theft.

Following work ethics helps us and also the company to grow in a better environment. The workplace co-operation affects a lot on the overall growth of the company. If the employees are treated with respect and are offered leverages, they come happy to work and thus perform better. To enhance productivity and to generate better results in less time consumed, work ethics must be followed.

POINTS TO REMEMBER BEFORE APPEARING IN AN INTERVIEW

Recruiters and the people, who are recruited, both have their own story. Reviewing so many people with almost similar skills and yet finding the best candidate is not an easy job. A slight mistake and you have hired a wrong person. Recruiters have to be keen observer and must have an eye for detail. Now talking from the end of the people being interviewed, what exactly is the difference that leads to selection of a candidate and rejection of another? Here are some important points one must remember before appearing for an interview. They are as follows-

1.       APPEARANCE – As it is said first impression is the last impression, appearance leads to an impression either long-lasting or for fraction of seconds. The way you dress up for an interview does matter. One must strictly take up formal attire while going for an interview. The way you look describes the how serious you are for the job you have applied for. Moreover, it is the first rule of being a professional.

2.       BODY LANGUAGE – Body language speaks it all. The people interviewing you don’t know you then how do they judge you? They review your body language. The way you walk, the way you sit, the way your hand gestures are, your facial expressions, everything matters. Sweating, rubbing hands etc are all signs of nervousness and must be avoided.

3.       COMMUNICATION SKILLS – The way we communicate and interact tells a lot about us. Good communication skills are major requirement for any job profile. Good communication skills help in client building and growing the network of a company and it also benefits an individual by developing a sense of confidence.

4.       SKILL REQUIREMENT FOR THE PROFILE – Apart from everything else, if you do not have the skill set required for the job you are applying, you are no good for the company and you will not be hired. One has to analyze the skills one possess and whether or not one fits for the profile. Various training and certifications acts like brownie points and will obviously get you an extra point. Experience does matter.

5.       RESUME – Before you meet the recruiter, the only thing he or she has to analyze you is the resume. Resume should strictly be professional and true. It must be updated from time to time. Every possible knowledge, experience and skills you possess must be mentioned in the resume. No one is going to ask you personally. Resume should not be over-exaggerated or give false information.

6.       ATTITUDE – Attitude is everything. The way you keep your attitude, your behavior will decide where you stand. As it is said, “People may hear your words, but they will feel your attitude.”

COMzen Technologies hiring process works in the similar manner. People are motivated here to work full up to their potential and benefit both the company and as an individual.

GRAB OPPORTUNITY, SUCCESS FOLLOWS!

“Opportunities do not always come knocking your door, sometimes you have to break the door and grab one!”

We end up in a state either good or bad because of the decisions we make. Opportunities are there all around us covering us like the layer ozone covering the earth but how well we grab the opportunity becomes the reason for every outcome. We make good decisions and bad decisions. The problem is not making bad decisions because mistakes are the best teacher if one tries to learn from them, the problem is, whenever we face a setback in our lives, we put a barrier to our growth. Setbacks are a part and parcel of life and the true winner is the one who can deal with it and move on.

Nobody has achieved something big without facing adverse situations. If a name is large, larger will be the  often forget to read under the lines and just see what is Bold and looks beautiful. No one sees the struggle behind a person who becomes successful. The misery, the hardship, the dedication, the never say die spirit and the quest for learning makes a person successful. Talking about the great investor the world has ever seen, Warren Buffet, who was claimed the wealthiest man in 2008 has his own story. Apart from a businessman, he is also a philanthropist who donated his one third of total income in order to make the world a better place to live in.

Warren Buffet, at a very young age involved himself into small business models and by the time he completed his post-graduation, he already earned $10000 from the small business models he worked upon. Later this man started investing in shares o different companies among which was Berkshire Hathaway and today he is the CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway. There are many different fields he is working in like food products, oil etc.

Warren Buffet is a true inspiration for every person who wishes to be n entrepreneur. He established his own empire from the ground to the height he is right now. The whole reason of quoting Warren Buffet is to clear my point that procrastinating or delaying things can never make you big. If you really have that thing in you and if you really want to achieve something really worth noticing you have to give in every ounce of your time, hard work and dedication. Things might take time to turn but it will if you believe it will.

COMzen Technologies is a successfully running startup and wishes to expand more and more. The true inspiration behind this company is the will to achieve something worthwhile. Every employee here has a share in the success story of COMzen Technologies because without team work nothing can be achieved.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” - Muhammad Ali

Training is the most essential part of life no matter whatever domain you are working in. Training may be tough, tedious or boring but the fact is only when you burn yourself or in other words work full up to your potential you become more refined and experienced. Once you are trained in a certain domain, work becomes easy and you are able to generate output according to the requirements. Training makes you aware of the way you need to proceed towards the role being assigned to you.

Training further leads to personnel development in terms of skill-set, capabilities, output effective working etc. It is a way that leads to a more promising future of an individual. Companies invest a lot in providing training programs to the employees because in the end it benefits both the company and the employee. Companies train their employees in order to make them understand the work environment of the company and to help them adjust with the same. Moreover, as we know the technologies are changing very fast, training becomes essential to help the employees learn and apply practically all the skills.

Employees are greatly benefited with training activities as when a company recruits a fresher, he is simply raw, unfurnished and needs a lot of furnishing. Training plays the role there by sharpening their skills, concepts and building a sense of confidence.
There are many benefits of training and development including job satisfaction, increased productivity, skill development and above all the confidence that the work assigned can be done. Timely and relevant training helps boost productivity. By closing skills, knowledge and performance gaps, and arming your employees with new ideas, best practices and skills that they can put into practice in their jobs right away, their competence, ability and confidence levels increase. As a result, these employees are able to make better decisions, and do their jobs smarter and more efficiently.

Here at COMzen Technologies, we have experienced as well as freshers working. The coordination among them makes it possible for all of them to learn, grow and benefit at the same time. There are training programs conducted here in order to help the freshers understand their designated role and responsibilities making them more goal-oriented. We believe in togetherness and we help each other to make the work environment healthy and easy for all.
